Step by Step Guide:
1. Early Spring- Use Green Up with Crab Grass Prevention to help prevent the growth of grassy weeds. 
Controls crabgrass both BEFORE and AFTER it germinates all season long. Also controls bittercress, spurge, chickweed, henbit and many other grassy and broad leaf weeds when applied prior to their germination. Provides 25% slow-release nitrogen and is a clear, non-staining formula. Provides the nutrients needed for a beautiful, green, thick lawn.
2. 
Late Spring– Green Up with Weed Prevention and Food. This product will help control dandelions, clover, chickweed, and over 250 broad leaf weeds from growing. Controls weeds in lawns while feeding your lawn with 35% slow-release nitrogen fertilizer. Three way action provides superior weed control. Feeds desirable grasses longer while weeds gradually disappear from the lawn.
3. Summer– Summer Survival or Mag-I-Cal Plus!
Summer Survival- will help control a wide spectrum of insect pests including bugs, army worms, sod web worms, ticks, ants, and over 15 other insects with Bifenthrin. With 40% slow-release nitrogen, this product provides a controlled release feeding. Gives the lawn a gentle feeding during summer months to keep lawns greener.
Mag-I-Cal PLUS- will help adjust soil pH, loosen hard soil, and activate soil microbial life. Why is pH control important? In a short answer: If you don’t have the proper soil pH, then you can be wasting between 20% and 70% of your lawn fertilizer nutrients. Lawns grow best in a soil that is slightly acidic to neutral (between 6.2 and a 7.0 on the pH scale) The pH must be balanced and is a very pertinent factor to sustainability and growth. Hard soils typically found in our Southern Indiana region are very acidic and need to be properly balanced and softened for grass to grow at its best GREEN and thrive.
4. Fall– Winter Survival will help feed the lawn and ward off disease in the winter.
Fall and winter feeding formula keeps your lawn greener later into the year. Provides a well balanced formula, ideal for winter turf protection. Iron, sulfur and 30% slow release nitrogen help to keep the lawn a deep-green color. A true fall/winter formula that promotes root growth and stores nutrients for the spring. Contains humates for root development. Ideal to use with a fall seeding.
